アメリカの電電量販店二位のサーキット・シティーが経営破たんしたようですね。

いろいろと調べてみると、　CIO　Onlineにて、

「サーキット・シティ　　戦略なきIT投資の“罪と罰”」という記事を見つけました。

2006年の記事でしたが、 「長期的なIT投資戦略」「システム（プログラム）の複雑化による弊害」などについて書かれており、非常に興味深い内容でした。

webブラウザのThinkFreeを使ってみました。

ThinkFreeは、米国のThinkFree社が開発した無料オンラインオフィスです。国内版は、SorceNext社が「てがるオフィス」として提供しています。

以前使ってみたStartForceと比べると、かなり使い勝手が良くほとんど、マイクロソフトオフィスと変わりません。Ajaxでできているので、もちろん、デスクトップ上と全く同じように、マウスを動かして利用することができます。

問題点は、「保存」する時に重過ぎるという点。

「Please be patient ~３０秒又は、もう少し待ってください。」と表示されるのですが、1分、経っても、2分経っても、全く動きません。　結局、ブラウザを閉じてしまうはめに・・・

この点を改善できれば、かなり利用者も増え、マイクロソフトのオフィスにも対抗できるのではないでしょうか。
